Sweeter Than Candy

Book three of Joy in Life

In the third book of the Joy In Life series we look at the events of the last half of 1967 through the eyes of the girl that our hero falls in love with. Candy Miller struggles with her seemingly outdated virtue of virginity. Her first boyfriend only wants her for sex and her next boyfriend doesn't ever even kiss her. Confused she decides that dating isn't all that it's cracked up to be. After an injury forces her to get to know the school's shallow, womanizing student trainer, she becomes increasingly interested in him. She soon finds that, although a womanizer, he's not so shallow. She eventually finds out that our hero's first girlfriend was controlling and oversexed, and had planted the seeds of his womanizing. In getting to know each other, they find out that they actually have a lot in common and that they are made for each other.
